Brown County, Indiana, world renowned for it's natural beauty, rolling hills, and forests. Built on an existing concrete foundation, this house will serve as a permanent residence for a couple who desire a place for their agrarian lifestyle. The straightforward design of the house relates to the typical utilitarian farmhouse. The siding panels were digitally patterned utilizing parametric modeling software and cnc routed with marine-grade plywood inspired by tree bark patterns. Each of the 715 individual plywood panels were sanded and stained and express a pattern that has total continuity on each side of the house.
