"Welding Workshop"

As part of the overall study of steel as a structural material in studio ARCH301, and 302, students were introduced to steel welding skills by taking an afternoon hands-on learning workshop. Under the guidance of master welder, Aaron Betzner, the students learn basic introductions to MIG welding and how to incorporate the skill into their own projects. Each of them practiced their new-found welding skills and fabricated their own steel artifact as a take-away from the experience.
